Sculpture garden in front of Milwaukie City Hall initiated by the Arts Committee

The City of Milwaukie Arts Committee helps facilitate connections between arts organizations and uses art as a platform for community growth.

Arts Committee members are appointed by the mayor and city council of the City of Milwaukie. I was appointed to a two-year term in April 2012. As part of my service, I helped produce a documentary project with teen moms in our community. Our committee also worked to revise the mural code for the city of Milwaukie to promote public art projects and support local artists.
