You have to be really brave to make something and put it out there judging by the comments section of Hack a Day! So congrats to Addie and Stefan for gettin' the Lasersaur to the circus of Makerfaire SF. The premise of Lasersaur is admirable – an open-source, build-it-yourself giant lasercutter that one can put together with parts available on the interweb (or perhaps locally).
